I am still trying to get into the host by Stephenie Meyer initially I didn't get this book because, well it's not exactly an area I like reading much about.  Then I read in a few places how it is the book for those who hate alien books.  Now I'm 82 pages into it and I'm feeling like my teeth are being pulled at the dentist with no novocain.  

This is the same girl who got through 1/2 of Twilight in one night.  So I know there is nothing wrong with my attention span or brain but for some odd reason this book is slow as hell, confusing to say the least jumps all over the place. 

Way too confusing.  Anyone else have any issues with this book? Or is it just me?
